The Medical College of Georgia is proud to provide an exciting opportunity, from one of our oldest healthcare diversity pathway programs in the United States that begun in 1970 the SEEP Pathway Program. Our SEEP Program, which is a six-week virtual program for students who are Georgia residents and are currently enrolled high school juniors and seniors or recent graduates who have demonstrated academic excellence and expressed a passion towards a career in the medicine. More than 2,300 students have participated in the program, with around 70% of the graduates going into health-related careers. According to a 2020 analysis completed, the direct impact of SEEP on the economic health communities is estimated to be $146.9 million annually, supporting 33,315 jobs as well as direct and indirect tax revenue of $24.3 million and 95% of these impacts are in the state of Georgia.
The program has a core curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for a future career in the health professions through an extensive academic program that includes noncredit courses to prepare students for upper level premedical coursework such as:
There is no cost to participate in these programs. Participants will receive a stipend of $ 483 per month (June and July), to help with program expenses. Final stipends are contingent upon student making at least a "B" in all program courses.

SEEP College is a six week summer program created with two levels: Intermediate College (Junior level) and Advanced College (Senior or recent graduates level). This intensive online summer design is based on science prerequisite courses, led by our reowned and dedicated campus medical faculty to provide driven students who seek a career in medicine an opportunity build a successful foundation towards applying to medical school.
Each track helps prepare students for a future career in the health sciences, with an emphasis on medicine through an extensive academic program that includes:
Participants at these levels receive college credit for biomedical science courses offered in the program.
There is no cost to participate in these programs. Participants will receive a stipend of $675 per month (June and July) to help with any program expenses. Final stipends are contingent upon student making at least a "B" in all program courses.
