Statistical Methodologies: Monte Carlo Methods and Simulations, Resampling Methods, Mixed-effects Models, Generalized Linear Models, Statistical Computing and Numerical Methods.

Application areas: Genomics, Bioinformatics, Neuroscience

My research includes two directions: 1). Methodological research in biostatistics and bioinformatics; and 2). Collaborative research in biomedical science. My research interests are developing statistical methodologies and computational techniques for the mining and analysis of large-scale genomic data, focusing on the improvement of the computational efficiency of resampling-based testing methods in genomic data analysis and the application of multilevel models for the study of complex genomic data. I have a broad range of interests in applying statistical methodologies and bioinformatics tools to scientific questions in biomedical science and public health, particularly neurological and psychiatric disorders.
