Political Science may be the degree for you. The Department of Political Science provides students a well-rounded program of study focusing on theoretical, methodological, and applied approaches to politics, government, and public administration.
The Department equips students to exercise political responsibility at the local, state, national, and international levels. Our programs prepare undergraduates for advanced study in graduate and professional school, including a five-year BA-to-MPA (Master of Public Administration) two-in-one degree program, and careers in all levels of government, public administration, international relations, and the private sector.
Political Science faculty offer courses in American Politics, Public Administration, International Relations, and Comparative Politics, and provide real-world experience through internships and study abroad opportunities.
