The Criminal Justice program at Augusta University includes not only a traditional focus on the criminal justice system (law enforcement, courts, and corrections), but goes beyond to include Criminology.

Criminology is a multidisciplinary field that focuses on the scientific study of crime, its causes, and methods of prevention. Our multidisciplinary Criminal Justice Program draws from Sociology, Political Science, English, and Psychology to prepare students to work in all aspects of the criminal justice system and beyond by helping them gain desirable skills in communication, data analyses, problem solving, and teamwork.
