Students who start mid-semester should pay for five lessons at a time.
30 Minute Lessons | Pay in full: $465 | 3 payments: $155 each payment | $31 per lesson |

All lessons take place in the Fine Arts Center on the Summerville Campus at Augusta University.
At the end of each semester we have a student recital at the Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Center where students can perform the repertoire they have been working on. All students are invited to perform and friends and family are welcome to attend. This concert is free and open to the public.
Students agree to attend a minimum of 15 lessons during each of the fall and spring semesters. Any additional lessons need to be paid for in advance of each lesson. During the summer, students will pay for 5 lessons at a time. Any extra paid lessons will be rolled over into the fall semester.
If a lesson needs to be canceled, 24 hours advance notice to the instructor is required. Failure to notify the instructor within 24 hours or not showing up for a lesson will result in a loss of that lesson without the option for a make-up or refund. All scheduling changes to the agreed upon private lesson schedule must be coordinated between the student and the private lesson instructor. The Music Conservatory Director will not be responsible for communicating private lesson schedule changes with your instructor.
If the student wishes to cancel their registration, the Music Conservatory director and private lesson instructor need to be notified immediately. Failure for the student to notify the Music Conservatory Director will cause cancellation and late fees to accumulate on the account. It is not the responsibility of the private lesson instructor to notify the director of a student's drop from registration. There will be a $50 cancellation fee for semester registration cancellations.
All make-up lessons need to be verified an approved by the private lesson instructor. Lessons that do not qualify for a make-up include cancellations and no shows made in less than 24 hours to the instructor. It is between the student and the instructor as to how the lessons are made up. The instructor may add on a few minutes to following lessons to make up the time, or schedule an additional lesson during the semester. Any questions about make-up lessons should be directed to the private lesson instructor. It is not the responsibility of the Conservatory Director to oversee lesson make-ups.
Semesters coincide with the university calendar as well as local school district calendars. Please note that in the case of severe weather and campus closings at Augusta University, lessons are subject to cancellation. Any lessons missed due to campus closing will be allotted a make-up at no fault to the student or the instructor. All private lesson semesters are based on 18-20 calendar-week periods. There are extra weeks built in for cancellations due to illness or other emergencies.
If your lessons are on Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm, you will need to park in lot #122 to avoid a parking ticket. All other lots are reserved for Augusta University faculty, staff and students.
