Nadia Jilani-Hyler is currently a senior lecturer in Political Science at Augusta University. She obtained her Masters Degree from the University of South Carolina in December 2014.

Teaching Interests
Nadia Jilani-Hyler teaches Introduction to American Government and International Security Studies courses including, Introduction to International Security Studies and Introduction to Middle East Security Studies. Nadia Jilani-Hyler is also Augusta University's Model UN Director and teaches the Model UN class which includes a study away component to the National Model UN Conference in New York City.

Research Interests
Nadia Jilani-Hyler's research focus is on the overlap of international political economy, and international conflict, specifically through economic sanctions with a focus on the Middle East. Recent publications focused on government responses to COVID-19 in the Middle East and North Africa regions.
