Bio

Dr. Ashish Sarker earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Chemistry from Jahangirnagar University of Bangladesh. Dr. Sarker did his PhD in Analytical Environmental Chemistry from Queen's University, Canada followed by two postdocs. He also possesses a master's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto. He also worked as a Research associate at the University of Manitoba where he was involved in Oil spill research in marine environment funded by the Government of Canada.

Dr. Sarker also worked as an Asst. Professor at Trent University, Ontario, Canada where he was involved in developing course curriculum and teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses.
