Employees are critical to the flow of information within our organization, and employee surveys tell us they prefer to receive information directly from their supervisors. Our office doesn’t just share information. We tell in-depth stories, delivered in print throughout the year and on our magazine website. The stories are as complex, diverse and compelling as the students, faculty, staff and alumni of Augusta University. Media Relations
Augusta University’s communications team connects local, state and national media outlets with the stories of the university and academic medical center. We help the media schedule interviews and set up photo/video shoots, along with promoting research, events and other news stories. A member of the team is on-call and available 24 hours a day at 706-522-3023. Find recent news releases here.
Expert Faculty
Augusta University is home to experts in a variety of fields ranging from health and social sciences to cybersecurity and beyond. The media can find an expert and schedule an interview through our Expert Center.
