We offer an ACGME accredited two-year fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism designed to deliver well-rounded clinical training in Endocrinology for the exceptional individual pursuing a highly successful career in private Endocrine Practice or Academic Medicine.  Fellows interested in research training have the opportunity to work closely with our research faculty.

A broad range of clinical experiences in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism which enables the fellows to achieve progressive independence and responsibility.  We have a large and varied patient population and treat a mix of common and rare conditions. Our Centers and multidisciplinary clinics offer a wide variety of learning opportunities.

  • Metabolic Bone Disease Clinic
  • Neuroendocrine Clinic

While inpatient clinical experience is extensive, training in outpatient endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism is emphasized. Endocrine Fellows participate in patient care and educational experiences at both AU Health Medical Center and Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center which is located next door.

APPLICANTS

Applicants must be a US Citizen, possess a valid US Permanent Resident Card or eligible for J-1 sponsorship by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). All international graduates must also hold a currently valid certificate from the ECFMG.
