The AU Diabetes Center delivers multidisciplinary care for type 1 and type 2 diabetes, specializing in patients that require multi-drug therapy and intensive insulin therapy.
Patients with diabetes undertake a comprehensive evaluation by our Endocrinology team which includes physicians, Advanced Practice Providers and Certified Diabetes Educators who provide counseling and training. We assist patients and their primary care providers to formulate an individualized treatment plan using new insulins and other injectable therapies, and cutting-edge technologies to include Bluetooth Glucose Meters, Continuous Glucose Monitors and Insulin Pumps.”
