Alpha Sigma Phi

Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, commonly nicknamed Alpha Sig, was founded nationally in 1845 at Yale University while here at Augusta University, Alpha Sigma Phi was founded in 2011. Some key characteristics of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity are their colors - cardinal and stone, their symbol - the Phoenix, and their flowers - red and yellow roses. Alpha Sigma Phi’s motto is “bettering the world through better men” and they support that motto by involving themselves in various philanthropies, such as: Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America; Homes for Troops; The Humane Society; RAINN; and Ronald McDonald House.
