The irradiation chamber consists of a sample cavity in which the plastic sample tray sits. | |
The sample cavity is within the hinged sample chamber door. | |
The door swings out from the body of the unit to allow convenient, safe, and easy access to the sample. | |
The sample tray has three ventilation access holes in its side. | |
One hole is used for air ventilation to the sample chamber. | |
The other holes may be used to allow instrument monitor leads to be connected to the test subject in the chamber. |
