Augusta University now offers faculty, staff, and students access to our AU enterprise Zoom account. Zoom is an online meeting platform that uses features, such as audio, video and screen sharing capabilities, to support active teaching and learning using real-time tools and conferencing technology. 

Augusta University also supports integration of Echo360 videos with Brightspace LMS.

Highlights:

  • Zoom integration with Brightspace (by D2L):You can use your AU Zoom account with Brightspace LMS, to support your online and hybrid courses. Students and faculty can meet in a “virtual classroom” for instruction or for any other related academic need.
  • Accessibility: At Augusta University, students with disabilities benefit from the enhanced captioning and transcription capabilities offered through Zoom.

Zoom is not to be used for the transmission of patient data or for any clinical needs.

Log in to Zoom

  • Go to https://augusta-edu.zoom.us
  • Enter a valid Augusta University NetID or JagID (this is the first part of your AU email)
  • Enter your Password
  • Echo360 requires Duo two-factor authentication to log in.

I already have a Zoom account set up with my Augusta University email, how do I merge them?

If you have created a free Zoom account in the past using your augusta.edu email you will need to merge them to use the AU enterprise Zoom account. Go to zoom.augusta.edu, and log in using your NetID and password. You will be asked if you want to move your current account into the AU enterprise Zoom account, agree to the account move.
