What You'll Learn

The online MPA program is an applied degree that balances scholarship and practice with the aim to enhance the performance of public and nonprofit professionals by providing them with an interdisciplinary skill set that they can immediately apply in their roles. During your time in the program, coursework will be guided by five core values:

Admissions Requirements

To be considered for admission to the online MPA program, the following items must be submitted along with your application:

  • Official transcripts from all universities and colleges attended, showing that you’ve earned a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university, with a GPA above 2.7 on a 4.0 scale
  • Three formal letters of recommendation
  • Resume/CV
  • Proof of Lawful Presence: In accordance with Board of Regents Policy 4.1.6, all applicants for admission to Augusta University are required to provide validation of lawful presence in the United States.
    • Acceptance to Augusta University is conditional until lawful presence is verified.
    • ALL applicants who are U.S. citizens must submit documentation that verifies their lawful presence in the United States at the time of application to admissions@augusta.edu.
