Augusta University accepts two fellows in its Anesthesiology Critical Care Fellowship each year on a competitive basis. Candidates must have successfully completed or be in the last year of training in a U.S. ACGME-accredited residency in anesthesiology to apply. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or on a sponsored J-1 Visa.
Prospective candidates must be eligible for J-1 Sponsorship by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, or possess a valid U.S. Permanent Resident Card, or valid Employment Authorization Document (EAD). All international medical graduates must also hold a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
