The Academic Success Center (ASC) is home to a variety of free support services including tutoring, academic coaching, success workshops. The space is also open for general study. The goal is to help students reach their academic potential and earn the grades they want and need!
Our Tutoring focus is on lower level courses, primarily biology, chemistry, physics, math and writing for English as well as other disciplines. We have drop-in hours as well as one-on-one appointments with professional, qualified and trained peer tutors.
Academic Coaching services includes one-on-one sessions in addition to group workshops on topics such as time-management and note taking.
Devine Davis is a Senior Anthropology and Psychology major from Miami, Florida. Devine has been recognized as a dean’s list recipient for the past two years. Fun Fact about Devine: “I love puns! I love puns! The cornier the better! Some would say I’m a glutton for PUNishment.”

Our First Year and Second Year Experience (FYE and SYE) are designed to help students make the most of their college experience from the day they step on campus!
FYE provides a framework of initiatives to foster your academic success throughout your first year.
SYE builds on FYE and supports the transition into year two and beyond with strategies and programming to maximize student success.
One-on-one and group tutoring covering a wide variety of subjects. Available by appointment,
drop-in, or for test reviews.
