Committed to increasing belongingness, and cultivating a welcoming environment for all students, faculty, and staff at Augusta University

Working hand-in-hand with university administrative units, academic departments and senior leadership, the Office of Institutional Access, Success, & Belonging (ASB) strategically builds, aligns and coordinates efforts throughout the university to advance the organizational goals outlined in our strategic plan "Creating a Legacy Like No Other" and to enhance Augusta University’s business operations.

In order to remain a destination of choice in today’s quickly evolving society, Augusta University understands that it must attract and develop talent from a broad array of backgrounds and experiences. Therefore, ASB works to foster an environment that celebrates unity and access to opportunity. We also promote cultural humility/responsiveness in which all backgrounds and cultures are valued. In addition, we emphasize respect, trust and empowerment, achieved through transparency, open communication, and the development of collaborative working relationships that extend beyond the campus to the surrounding communities that Augusta University serves.
