Want to help, but can’t donate your time?

Virtual Volunteering is for you! Virtual Volunteers are volunteers who donate goods to AU Health. For your convenience, we have put together a comprehensive Donations Wish List of goods for the Children's Hospital of Georgia and AU Medical Center.

Please complete the attached In-Kind Donation form on the second page when dropping off your donation.

Examples of donations needed include:

Socks (all sizes): Fun socks are used by patients of all ages to stay cozy during their stay as well as add a pop of fun to their wardrobe

Blankets: Blankets are used to keep our patients warm and comfortable during their stay. Blankets can be bought or made with love. If interested in knitting or sewing blankets, please see the guidelines below:

  • Garments need to be made from soft yarn, fleece, or flannel
  • Garments must be washed prior to being donated
  • The size of swaddling blankets varies from 40x40 to 47x47

Pre-Packaged Snacks and Water Bottles: These items are given to families in our Intensive Care Units who may be at the hospital for extended periods of time with their loved one.

Adult Activities: We are in need of puzzles, crosswords, coloring books, etc. to help pass the time for our adult patients.

Onesies and footie pajamas: New preemie to 1-year old baby clothes with tags for our NICU babies.

Toys: Wipeable toys and activities help make the hospital fun for some of our youngest patients.
