We are dedicated to helping Augusta University fulfill its mission to set the standard of excellence in education, research and clinical care. Our volunteers continue to grow and support staff, patients and families.
Volunteer Services main goal is to integrate volunteers throughout the academic health center where they have the greatest impact to AU Health's patients and staff. In doing this, Volunteer Services is also devoted to providing a meaningful experience for the volunteer that aligns with the hospital's mission and the volunteer's goals and desire to give back to the community.

The Augusta University campus covers more than 670 acres within the city of Augusta, but our reach goes deep into the community and spans throughout the state. Whether it is right here on campus, or in the community, our volunteers are compassionate people who make a difference in the lives of patients, families, healthcare professionals, and all those who call Augusta home.
To us, volunteers are a vital and appreciated force, willing to donate their time and skills and are committed to making a difference right here at AU and in support of their community.
