Testing and Disability Services

  • Our office is open but we are conducting group tests on a modified schedule. We are conducting appointments via phone, Teams, email, etc. We can schedule face-to-face appointments for students who request it during our normal business hours.
  • You can reach us via phone at 706-737-1469 or via email at tds@augusta.edu.
  • Please be sure to monitor our website regarding test dates for PRAXIS, GACE, SAT, ACT, etc. and register early since numbers of registrants will be reduced.  We will continue to offer some tests via a remote format. If you have any questions, we will be glad to assist you.
  • Disability students should monitor SAM for announcements and can contact the office for any assistance needed for online classes.

Campus Recreation

  • Check out our Instagram for workouts, and our Facebook for future tournaments!
  • To get free workouts at home, download SugarWOD, set up a new account, select Augusta University Campus Recreation Center as your gym, and use access code “FitJags2020” to access the content. Let’s keep moving!
  • A great way to enjoy recreation and still have plenty of space for social distancing is spending time outside. Check out some locations near Augusta University: Savannah Rapids, Phinizy Swamp, and the state parks.
  • Stay connected with Augusta University's Gaming Club Discord Server! The club will host matches and tournaments across multiple platforms based off popular games such as League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, and many more!
  • Try free meditations provided by Headspace to help you relax and unwind. Also, you can visit The Mindful Movement channel on YouTube for combinations of physical and mental exercises.
  • Consider picking up a new skill: cooking. Try some new and healthy meals you can make yourself while your favorite local spots are closed. You’ll find some great options at HealthNut Nutrition on YouTube.
