Master Leaders Cohort
Student Life and Engagement is excited to offer students the opportunity to sharpen
their leadership skills, serve their community and have fun while doing it.
Program Description
The Master Leaders is a cohort based extended learning program designed for students
to learn about leadership and demonstrate skills through service. Cultivated by a
blended curriculum of Strengths-Based Leadership, Servant Leadership, Rite of Passage,
and the Social Change Model Theory participants will engage in monthly sessions, group
socials, and one-on-one coaching with the leadership staff. Participants will:
- Identify and leverage personal strengths and the strengths of others
- Develop social responsibility to serve others, especially the disenfranchised, by
learning the 10 characteristics of servant leadership
- Cultivate a sense of belonging within the campus and the extended community
- Complete a Legacy Project focused on positive social change
- Host various leadership workshops, programs, and campus throughout the community
