Thanks to an endowment established by Robert and Katherine Reese Pamplin, the College of Science and Mathematics is able to provide funding to support undergraduate and graduate students’ engagement in support of research mentored by faculty. Faculty who are actively mentoring College of Science and Mathematics majors engaged in a scientific research project may submit proposals on behalf of their student(s).
A call for proposals is issued in three cycles each year: fall semester, spring semester, and summer. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to receive this funding. Priority for funding will be given to projects which are likely to yield a peer-reviewed publication and/or a grant proposal.
