Pamplin Student Research and Travel (PSRT) funding supports undergraduate level student research, conducted under the direction of faculty in the Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. The committee consists of three members from different departments in the college. Each member serves a three year term, with the contributing departments rotating through in alphabetical order. The committee chair is the primary contact for questions about the PSRT process and is identified in the table below.
The PSRT Committee solicits proposals in both fall and spring semesters. Award recipients have presented and won awards at local, state, and national level conferences.

The deadline for our first round of Spring Proposals is January 15, 2021. See the Call for Proposals and the Proposal Instructions and Application Form below for more details. Please note that only complete, typewritten proposals will be considered for funding.
