Spring 2019 Dates
Monday, January 14, 2019: First Rehearsal
Monday, March 25, 2019: 7:00 pm concert
This ensemble is open to High School band players who play brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. Students must have experience with an honor ensemble (All State, All County, District, Region etc.).
Students who would like to participate but have no experience in an honor band must have a written recommendation from their band director.
The first rehearsal of the Spring 2019 season is Monday, January 14, 2019 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Rehearsals continue each Monday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. in room C1 of the Fine Arts Center on the Summerville Campus of Augusta University. The address is 2500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904.
The Spring 2019 concert will be on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 7 p.m.
There will be a required dress rehearsal on Sunday, March 24, 2019
from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
If you are interested in the first chair position or sitting higher in the section, you will audition at the first rehearsal on Jan. 14th. If you do not want to audition you will be seated according to the information you supply on your registration form.
The tuition for participation in CWS is $95.00 per student. The tuition also includes a recording of the concert. There will be no admission charge for the concert. After you submit the registration form, there will be a link to our online payment system. You can pay the fee online, or you can pay it with cash or with a check. Checks need to be made out to "Augusta University" and be sure to include the student's name on the check. Cash and checks can be placed in an envelope and put into the "Conservatory Program" box which is located in the lobby of the Fine Arts Center near the kitchen.
Fees must be paid by Monday, January 28th. After January 28th a $25 late fee will be added.
Rehearsals take place in the rehearsal hall (room C-1) of the Fine Arts Center, located on the Augusta University Summerville Campus

The concert will be Monday March 25, 2019 7:00pm in the Maxwell Performing Art's Theatre. It is free and open to the public.
