 Each student is required to register and participate in Jaguar Nation Orientation & Welcome Programming. 

 

Spring 2021 Entry Student Orientation Programing:

In order to maintain safety during the COVID-19 crisis, all students will complete a mandatory virtual orientation session. Students will review video content and complete short quizzes via the orientation module on Desire2Learn (D2L) at their own pace. Altogether, the orientation experience will take approximately 2 hours.

Each of our Colleges, Office of Student Life and Engagement & New Student and Family Transitions will offer a Q&A style LIVE session.

Price Breakdown:

The cost to attend your required virtual program is $25.00. Our registration fee includes the cost of the technology, staff support, and materials.

The fee for students starting in the Spring 2021 term is currently decreased due to COVID-19 and the programming being done completely online. 

REGISTRATION  Instructions: 

  1. Click on Registration Link, fill-in contact information, select student population that best fits you.                                                                                                                                       
  2. Select the Spring virtual orientation option.

  3. Decide if you will be having family members, parents or guests attending with you.

  4. Complete your Jaguar Nation Orientation & Welcome Registration Form.

  5. After your registration is received, you will receive follow up information via your Augusta University email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! You will receive two confirmations: one confirmation with your Jaguar Nation Orientation & Welcome registration and the other confirmation will confirm payment.

You do not need to contact the office! We will release the Orientation Required Hold from your account within 1-2 business days of completion.

To access the quizzes you must complete the module quiz before with a 100%. (i.e. in order to access module 3 quiz, you will have needed to make a 100% on the module 2 quiz.)

Jaguar Nation Orientation & Welcome fees (both student and guest) are non-refundable. Deciding not to attend Augusta University or having your admission rescinded due to poor academic performance does not qualify to receive a refund.

 After you sign up for Orientation, you will get an email with a Jag Survey that will assist with the registration process.

If you have less that 60 hours, your academic advisor will help you register for your first semester.
