Registration

The process for registering for your Orientation experience is below, please read the instructions & check your Augusta University email for instructions.

You will need to activate your Admission Status Portal account (& submit your enrollment deposit if required) before you will have access to register for your Orientation.

Registration has opened for Summer & Fall 2021 entry students!

REGISTRATION & Payment Instructions:

*All registration fees are non-refundable.
Our registration fee covers the cost of all aspects of the orientation program.

 

Price Breakdown

  • Fall Entry Orientation Fee - $65

 

 

  1. For Summer Entry: Log into your Student Status Portal to register.
        For Fall Entry: Go to the Orientation Landing Page to select your Orientation date.

  2. Once you have registered, you will return to the portal to pay the fee.

  3. We accept a web check, Discover, Visa and MasterCard. Cash is not accepted.

  4. After registration & payment is received, you will receive a confirmation via email.

Things to keep in mind when registering

Each student must have registered for a spot at Jaguar Nation Orientation & Welcome (Jag NOW).

Orientation Timeline

Please click on the dropdown options below for more detailed information regarding Orientation.

  • After completing your Welcome course, attend your one day session (Virtual or In-person)
  • Meet with your Orientation Leader
  • Meet with and learn the expectations of your college and major
  • Gain access to your class schedule
  • Connect with campus offices and departments virtually to complete any business
  • Give us your feedback. Take the Orientation Assessment Survey sent to your Augusta University email
  • Continue to check your Augusta University Email Daily
  • Explore JagNet Systems, which include PounceEmail and D2L
  • Contact Academic Advisement to make any adjustments to your class schedule
  • Check Pounce to see and verify your financial aid status. You must accept or decline any offered aid in Pounce. Return any required forms.
  • Check Pounce after July 1 for your Fall University Bill
  • Pay University Bill prior to the first day of classes
  • Register for a parking permit
  • Reserve textbooks online at the JagStore
  • Submit all final transcripts from high school and/or college credit earned to the Office of Admissions
  • Submit Immunization Forms prior to move-in, if living on campus, or before the first day of classes, if a commuter student
  • If living on campus, coordinate with roommate about room needs and who is bringing what items
  • Attend events during Leap Week
  • Attend Convocation


Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! You will receive two confirmations: one confirmation with your Jaguar Nation Orientation & Welcome session date and registration information and the other confirmation will confirm payment.

Jaguar Nation Orientation & Welcome fees (both student and guest) are non-refundable. Deciding not to attend Augusta University or having your admission rescinded due to poor academic performance does not qualify to receive a refund.

After registering for the required orientation for all newly admitted students, a New Jag Survey will be sent to your Augusta University email address. Once you have completed this survey, it will be sent to your academic adviser & they will reach out to you to help you schedule your courses.


Summer Entry Orientation

Summer Entry Students will participate in a Virtual Orientation Platform via Desire to Learn (D2L)

Complete the Online Orientation Module through D2L- this course will be assigned to you within 2 business days after registering & paying for your orientation.

Jaguar Transition Days - Come take care of business before classes begin (Registration is required for these events)

Fall ENtry Orientation

Orientation for fall entry students is being offered both in-person and virtually. Please note students must complete their online welcome to hold their orientation date; failure to complete the online welcome will require rescheduling of orientation date.
