Service Areas

Operations leads the enterprise in four key areas

Auxiliary Services

Auxiliary Services includes programs and efforts in support of non-essential university functions that nonetheless enhance the campus experiences of faculty, staff, students and guests. This includes parking and transportation, vending and dining, textbook and merchandise sales, as well as housing and health for students and the Wellness Center.


Facilities takes care of our buildings and grounds, maintenance and construction, planning and space management, cleaning services and more. This team covers more than 585 square feet of interior space and 6.78 million acres of exterior space on five campuses in Augusta.

Human Resources

Human Resources is responsible for the effective management of our comprehensive workforce, including benefits, compensation, and training. The team oversees university and health system HR needs.

Communications & Marketing

The Division of Communications and Marketing (DCM) is responsible for generating awareness and managing the reputation of the Augusta University brand and the subsidiary brands that fall within the comprehensive university. This is performed through three teams: Communications, Marketing and Creative Services.
