Augusta University offers the state of Georgia's first Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. Established in 2005, at that time it was the only program in the Georgia. The DNP now includes seven degree tracks for post-BSN and post-MSN study.
For professionals who have master's degrees in nursing and are currently certified as advanced practice nurses, i.e. nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists or nurse anesthetists.
For professionals who have master's degrees in nursing and are currently certified as nurse executives.
For registered nurses who desire to become a nurse practitioner (NP).

All required application materials and documents must be received in order for an application to be considered complete and before an admission decision can be made. Supporting materials will continued to be processed after the program deadline. The application deadlines may be extended on a space-available basis only. Otherwise, the application closes on the posted deadline.
