Information Today, Helping Communities Tomorrow

Approved by the Augusta University Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Information Today, Helping Communities Tomorrow data repository is an educational and research resource for faculty and students in the College of Nursing.

Health attributes collected at various CON offerings such as health fairs or well checkups after obtaining consent by a research team member are placed in the completely anonymous repository.

Community members who consent to sharing their health information are given a carbon “health” data sheet on which no names are placed. After participating in the community event, the participant may choose to place a copy in a secure collection box or keep both copies and not participate.

Repository data is available by request only from the Research Team and must be IRB approved.

Please contact Kerrie Scott to have the Research Team attend your community events.
