CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

This conference will help students gain a better understanding of health profession school, with emphasis on medical school. The conference provides interactive workshops and simulations designed to hone participants’ skills and preparation that are necessary for successful admission and matriculation. Workshops and topics covered (not an inclusive list):

Participants also have opportunity to tour the Augusta University Medical College of Georgia teaching and learning community in addition to visiting vendor exhibits. A key feature of the conference is the Undergraduate Research Poster session, which provides college and post baccalaureate students an opportunity to present their scholarly research work.

Additionally, the conference provides special sessions for high school and college advisors and parents that will help in advising students along their pre-health educational pathway.

ADVISOR AND GROUP REGISTRATION

For advisors who bring 10 or more students, the registration fee is waived. For advisors who bring less than 10 students, the early registration fee for advisors is $20 until February 8, 2019. After February 8, 2019 the registration fee increases to $25.

Vendor Registration

We are expecting approximately 450 high school and college students (mostly college). In addition, medical students will participate in conference activities. Conference attendees will have time during the Saturday morning registration, at breaks, and lunch to speak with vendors. Additional information will be provided to vendors upon receipt of the registration fee.
