REST-IT is an eight week long, multisite clinical research study sponsored by the
National Institute of Mental Health. Augusta University, Duke University, and the
University of Wisconsin-Madison will each be recruiting 46 participants in total to
take part in the study. The purpose of this study is to determine whether cautious
use of sleep medication along with standard antidepressant treatment reduces depressive
symptoms in individuals with depression and insomnia.
