Dr. Zachary Lukowski joined the faculty at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in August of 2017 after completing his medical school, residency, and fellowship training at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He specializes in vitreoretinal disease and surgery and has a special interest in diabetic eye disease and repair of complex diabetic tractional retinal detachments. Dr. Lukowski’s other areas of focus include the medical treatment of age-related macular degeneration and retinal vascular disease, surgical repair of rhegmatogenous retinal detachments, and management of complications following cataract surgery.
