Our mission is to serve as catalysts for the pursuit of knowledge, quality, health and possibilities.
Healthcare is increasingly chaotic and challenging. It is hard for family physicians to provide optimal healthcare when they feel anxious, frustrated, and confused by all the changes taking place in the practice of medicine. Now more than ever, "knowledge is power:" power to take greater charge of your response to healthcare changes and power to become even more productive providers of important healthcare services.
We, in the Department of Family Medicine Research, are here to assist you in any way we can. Located on the second floor (2050) of the HB building, we specialize in grant writing, presentations, literature searches and anything research related. If you have questions regarding research, topics on health disparities, cultural competency, or just want to get to know us better- please do not hesitate to contact us at 706-721-4510. We look forward to meeting and helping you in any way we can.
