We cordially invite you to participate in the inaugural workshop on “Emerging Data Science Methods for Complex Biomedical and Cyber Data”, held at the Augusta University on Mach 29-30, 2019. The workshop features several eminent speakers who are pioneers in the fields of big data analytics. The goal of this two-day workshop is to educate and empower graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, early career researchers and faculty members with emerging statistical methods to address the complex data arising from various fields, in particular from biomedical and cyber sciences.
The workshop is financially supported by the Augusta University Office of SVP for Research, the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI), Augusta University School of Computer and Cyber Sciences and co-sponsored by ASA Georgia Chapter, CWS, IMS, ISI, JCW-Math and SRCOS.
Those seeking financial support to attend the workshop are encouraged to apply for the IMS Travel Award. A limited number of travel awards up to $800 each for attendees is also available from the Workshop to offset eligible workshop-related expenses.
