There are two Augusta University libraries, Reese Library on the Summerville campus and Greenblatt Library on the Health Sciences campus. Augusta University Libraries provide books, ebooks, government publications, journals, audiovisuals, databases, historical collections, and more, in support of student and faculty research.
We provide research assistance in person and electronically and also provide tours
and instruction classes for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Students
can request appointments with librarians, including specialized medical reference
librarians, for more in-depth research needs. Thousands of research journals are available
electronically – in person and remotely - through research databases held in GALILEO
and elsewhere, with many available full text.
Mission
The Augusta University Libraries lead the organization in providing comprehensive
resources and services in support of the education, research and scholarship, clinical
care, and outreach and economic development strategic focus areas of our research
university and academic medical center.
Vision
The Libraries will advance intellectual inquiry in support of teaching and learning,
research and scholarly communication, and clinical care.
