Fall 2018 & Spring 2019 Meal Plan Options

RESIDENTIAL PLANS (Added to your account with your housing application)

Basic Meal Plan - $1715, Includes $350 in Flex Dollars. Students choose any 10 of the 19 meals served per week in Atrium Dining Hall, or use Flex Dollars in other dining locations. This is the minimum required plan for Oak Hall. Students may choose to upgrade to Jaguar Blue or Gold Plans. Good Value! Atrium Dining Hall corresponding meal value of just $7.38 per meal!

Jaguar Blue Plan - $1920, Includes $350 in Flex Dollars. Students choose any 12 of the 19 meals served per week in Atrium Dining Hall, or use Flex Dollars in other dining locations. Better Value! Atrium Dining Hall corresponding meal value of just $6.89 per meal!

Jaguar Gold Plan - $2260, Includes $350 in Flex Dollars. Students choose any 19 of the 19 meals served per week in Atrium Dining Hall, or use Flex Dollars in other dining locations. Best Value! Atrium Dining Hall corresponding meal value of just $5.58 per meal!

University Village - $300 Flex. Students may use Flex Dollars in Atrium Dining Hall or other dining locations. This is the minimum required plan for University Village.

House Staff Dining

Residents participating in programs that require in-house overnight call use their JagCard (I.D. badge) to access hospital provided dining funds.

  • Call rotation dining allowances are determined by the GME office, from the departmental call schedule $20.00 for week night call, and $25.00 for weekend or holiday call. Funds are given for AU Health hospital in-house overnight call (24 hours) only.
  • Any resident, intern, or fellow that receives additional compensation for extra pay, extra duty, or meal monies for being on call (either in-house or home call came into hospital (minimum 6 hours) must submit theOne45 duty hour report  to the GME Office for meal monies BEFORE compensation will be made. Correct recording of hours, day, time, shift type, and location must be accurately indicated.
  • Funding for each month’s call rotation is a separate 'plan’ and each plan balance is reported individually. When two (or more) plans are valid, the 'first’ plan is used until it expires or reaches a $0 balance - THEN the 'next’ plan is automatically accessed.   
  • Personal funds (JagCard cash) are accessed ONLY when housestaff funds are expired or depleted. Personal funds DO NOT EXPIRE
  • You can manage your JagCard account ONLINE -- check your balance(s), view transactions, and make deposits 24/7 to your personal account from any computer with internet access.
  • Housestaff Dining funds may be used at ALL campus and hospital dining locations, (except food trucks)
  • Housestaff meal fund plans are listed online as: "HSTF Dining" (monthly allowances named as JAN, FEB, MAR, etc.)
