Workshops and Learning Labs

The Center for Instructional Innovation, in conjunction with Information Technology, offer workshops and learning labs to provide pedagogically sound tips and strategies for teaching with technology, as well as hands on labs that focus on the use of instructional tools.

Go2Knowledge provides you with unlimited access to the professional development program with over 295 on-demand webinars including monthly live webinars, on a variety of topics such as administration, student success, teaching, and learning:

  • Login with your NetID: go2knowledge.
  • Once you login, you can access the Digital Library to register for live or on-demand webinars on a variety of topics. Use the search bar and search for a variety of topics.

Magna Digital Library is an on-demand resource center providing campus-wide access to Magna’s complete digital library of more than 400 educational development programs for faculty and leadership staff. Learn from brilliant colleagues as they dispense actionable ideas and proven strategies on the most current topics affecting higher education today.

This website includes access to The Teaching Professor and The Academic Leader Publications.

  • Access to Magna Digital Library
  • Create an account using the registration button and create an account password using your Augusta University email.
  • Once you create an account, login to the website and it will take you to the dashboard. If you already have an account, you can click the option that says, “Click Here to View My Account.”
  • This will take to you a dashboard called “My Online Access” that will allow you to access the following at no charge:
    • Magna Online Courses
    • Magna Digital Library
    • The Teaching Professor
    • Academic Leader
  • Note: When accessing the Magna website, the top bar gives you access to the external Magna webpage, all resources through the subscription are provided under the “Dashboard.”

National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD)

This website has programs and services that help faculty increase writing productivity, establish and maintain work-life balance, create broad networks of collegial support on their campus, and develop a committed stance towards their institutional home. 

  1. To join: NCFDD
  2. Choose Augusta University from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select “Activate my Membership”.
  4. Complete the registration form using your Augusta University email address.
  5. Go to your email to find a confirmation/welcome email. Click “Activate Account” in the email.
