You must be enrolled in classes for the summer in order to apply for summer housing. No application fee or deposit is required. However, if you cancel your summer housing agreement any time after signing it, there will be a $250.00 cancellation fee placed on your POUNCE account. Additionally, if you fail to check into your room by the end of your first contract day, the $250.00 cancellation fee will be placed on your account, unless previous arrangements have been made with the Housing Coordinator.
There are three rates for the summer:
Summer Session 1 and Summer Session 1A are considered Full Summer. Summer Sessions 2, 3 and 4 are each considered Partial Summer. If you are signed up for multiple terms that do not run concurrently you must select Full Summer when completing your application. Any combination of terms that exceeds 7 ½ weeks will be charged at the Full Summer rate. Summer registration will be verified. We reserve the right to change your assignment if your enrollment changes.
Once Housing and Residence Life makes an assignment the charge will be placed on your POUNCE account. Log into POUNCE to make your payment by the summer payment deadline. Payment is due before you can move in.
