The Augusta University Honors Program is tailored toward academically motivated and talented students. The Honors Program features small classes for the core curriculum and interdisciplinary seminar courses. The course of study emphasizes undergraduate scholarship, research, and creative activity and culminates in a faculty-mentored honors thesis.
As a consequence of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Augusta University is temporarily not requiring standardized test scores for admission. To reflect this decision, the AU Honors Program will base its admission decisions on a combination of high school grade point average* and the quality of your essay responses. (Please address the prompts clearly and completely, and make sure it falls within the word limits.) We will consider any test scores reported to the university only if they help your case for admission to the honors program.
