The President’s Club honors donors who contribute $1,200 or more annually.
Augusta University’s lifetime giving society, the Pillar Society recognizes those individuals who have invested $250,000 or more in cumulative, lifetime giving.
The Harrison Society honors donors who have made documented bequests of any amount in their wills and/or who have made provisions for Augusta University through planned giving instruments (such as annuities or trusts).
Once a year, a detailed giving report is sent to our friends of the university and health system who have given so generously and are integral to our success.
The Donor Bill of Rights ensures that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the nonprofit organizations and causes they are asked to support. The Office of Advancement serves as stewards to the funds entrusted to our Academic Health Center. As such, we must ensure the highest standards of donor confidentiality. Information on gifts to Augusta University is reserved for those working directly to support the donor’s gift intent within our Colleges and Units. For consideration of access, the following documents must be reviewed/affirmed.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of events to recognize the many ways our alumni, parents, and friends support the University.
Each academic year, in the spring, we host a celebratory event for those benefactors who have supported endowed scholarships and those who have established new scholarships. This is a wonderful way to introduce our student-recipients to the people whose generosity has had such a meaningful impact.
