Competition Schedule: October 17 2020

7:00 am Check In

8:00 am Opening Ceremony

8:30 am First Competition Starts

1:30 pm Begin Gathering in Amphitheater 

2:00 - 3:30 pm Awards Ceremony


Please note:

  • COVID-19 UPDATE: We are aware of the continued potential of COVID-19 impact in Fall, 2020. If postponement becomes necessary, any changes to the competition will be announced here.
  • Twenty (20) teams can register per event: Aeronautical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Dance, Engineering, Music, Spoken Word, Theater, and Visual Arts.
  • Sixteen (16) teams can register for Debate.
  • Forty (40) teams can register for Rocketry.
  • Teams may consist of between 2 and 7 students.
  • If you are registering more than one team, you should have an assistant coach or multiple assistant coaches to ensure that students have an adult with them at all times.
  • There is a $30 fee for each event, which includes four (4) student and one (1) coach T-shirt. For teams larger than four (4) students, or that have more than one (1) coach, extra T-shirts can be purchased during registration for $10 each. 
  • If an event is closed, please email STEAMed@augusta.edu to be added to a waiting list.
  • NO registrations will be accepted after close date. All fees must be paid before close date.

Who:

Teams of students in grades 4-8 during the 2020-2021 school year. This includes all students: public school, private school, homeschool, scout troops, boys and girls club, etc.
