After creating a University Calendar event, that event can be shared with other people via Outlook Calendars and Social Media. Sharing calendar events can also assist in marketing or advertising for the event.
Once the calendar event has been created, go to the University Calendar homepage and make sure that you are logged in.
NOTE:
Most of the events submitted to the calendar need to be approved prior to them showing
up in the University Calendar. In these cases, you may not see your event immediately
after submitting the event. Wait 1-2 days to allow time for the event to be approved.
Next, locate the event you would like to share. You can do this by scrolling down the page (events are listed chronologically), or by using the "Search" feature.
Upon finding your event, click either the event Title or the "Details" button to take you to the Calendar Event.
Select the "Share It" Option toward the bottom of the Event information, and additional options will appear.
