Thank you for your interest in our Dental Hygiene programs. The BS-DH entry level program requires a full-time, on-campus commitment. We also offer a BS-DH online degree completion program for registered dental hygienists who are graduates of associate degree dental hygiene programs.

Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene

The Augusta University BS-DH program is accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation. It requires completion of 60 semester hours of core curriculum before entering the program to complete the final two years of DH curriculum. Students must also complete University System of Georgia graduation requirements prior to earning the BS-DH degree.

Personal interviews are required for the admissions process. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements and submit all application documents by the deadline are granted an interview.

General Admissions Requirements

Program application deadline is April 1. Classes begin in the Fall (August) semester only. Please visit the Office of Admissions to obtain the most current program information.
