The mission of the Division of Professional and Community Education (PaCE) is to provide high quality, non-traditional educational opportunities for learners seeking to grow professionally, personally and culturally. We extend the resources of Augusta University to promote lifelong learning. We serve a diverse population by providing a variety of educational programs serving Georgians from early childhood through senior years. Our activities reach people of all ages and walks of life. We are responsive to the changing needs of the campus and the community. Our programming is sound in educational content, is presented by qualified instructors, and promotes the mission of Augusta University on campus, throughout the State of Georgia, the Southeast, nationally and internationally.
For courses held on the Augusta University Summerville campus, your confirmation will serve as your parking pass. Our campus is well-lit at night and Public Safety patrols the campus at all times. Please be aware that due to ongoing construction, some parking areas may be unavailable. We will make every effort to notify you in advance of parking lot changes. If you haven't heard from us and expect parking to be a problem, please contact Public Safety at 706-737-1401 or call us the week before your class begins. This is especially important if you have special parking needs.
Required textbooks and many supplies are available at the Augusta University Bookstore. Please save your receipts in the event a course is canceled and a refund is desired. If you are planning to take an online class, check the course description for a list of required textbooks and/or software. There will be a link to a web site or a toll-free number listed to obtain the materials. Alternately, you can always order these items through the Augusta University Bookstore.
If you require special accommodation or have other special needs, please contact us at (706)721-3967 as far in advance as possible.
ADULT PaCE students may have limited use of the library during the academic term in which they are enrolled. Please request the required library usage form from the PaCE office at (706)721-2329 or email email@example.com.
A CEU (Continuing Education Unit) is a nationally recognized unit of credit for recording satisfactory completion of many PaCE classes. One CEU represents 10 contact hours of instruction. Augusta University Professional and Community Education maintains permanent records of an individual's CEU credits. Transcripts are available upon written request.
Our classrooms can be too warm or too cool. For your comfort, we recommend that you dress in layers.

Will VA benefits pay for PaCE courses? Yes. We have some courses approved by the VA for the GI Bill, Post-911, etc. Please contact Jasmine Gaffney at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for details.
