Georgia Cancer Center Integrated Genomics Resource

The Integrated Genomics Shared Resource in the Georgia Cancer Center house a complete Illumina NextGen Sequencing Facility including both HiSeq and MiSeq and NextSeq 500 instruments. Expertise for performing DNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, Chip-Seq, Methyl-Seq and targeted re-sequencing is available. Microarray resources include Affymetrix ® and Agilent ® Scanner Platforms that facilitate exon-specific, oligonucleotide and genome-wide arrays. Bioinformatic support is available for data analysis for both sequencing and microarray data.

Publication Policy

Acknowledgement of the Shared Resource is always required on publications resulting from consultation with the personnel of the Integrated Genomics Core. Significant involvement in the project, significant involvement in the interpretation of scientific data, involvement in the actual writing of a paper, use of original techniques, and/or novel experimental design by the facility stuff are required to be acknowledged by co-authorship and acknowledgement of shared resource facility.
