The Great American Smokeout is Thursday, November 19, 2020.
Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Each year we set aside the 3rd Thursday of November as the Great American Smokeout (GASO) to encourage people to stop smoking and to “Commit to Quit” for a lifetime.
Join Augusta University and AU Health, our patients, families, students, employees, and the community on November 19th at one of our Commit to Quit Stations to promote health and prevent diseases. Learn about the benefits of quitting smoking and tips for taking those first steps, how to access cessation resources, and to sign-up for help with quitting.
A variety of tobacco stop-smoking aids and cessation resources will be available at ten “Commit to Quit” campus locations.
