Transient Students

Please note that acceptance to Augusta University does not guarantee enrollment into specific classes. Please refer to our Course Catalog for course restrictions and pre-requisite requirements. Many courses reach maximum capacity during early registration, prior to transient student registration.

  • A completed application for admissions and admissions fee.
  • A permission letter or form from the registrar, department chair, advisor or other appropriate official from the applicant’s home institution. The letter must indicate the student has permission to enroll in the host institution for the term the student is applying.
  • Please note that an official transcript is not required for admissions, but is requested to be sent electronically, mailed or faxed from the home institution to Augusta University. This is requested as the student may need to show proof of pre-requisite courses before registering for a specific course at Augusta University.
  • Verification of Lawful Presence is required for students seeking in-state tuition.
  • Any further documents as requested by the Augusta University Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
