A transient student is a student who is enrolled in one college or university and takes courses temporarily at Augusta University with the intention of transferring the course credit back to their home institution.
Transient students are approved and admitted for one academic term at a time. Augusta University allows transient students to attend for consecutive terms, however per USG guidelines a new application and supporting documentation must be submitted for each term.
Please note that acceptance to Augusta University does not guarantee enrollment into specific classes. Please refer to our Course Catalog for course restrictions and pre-requisite requirements. Many courses reach maximum capacity during early registration, prior to transient student registration.
