Acting as the voice of all students enrolled at Augusta University, the Student Government Associate shall actively work to improve the quality of life for the Student Body, along with the university and community as a whole. Believing in the right of self-governance, all students enrolled at Augusta University shall be a member of the Student Government Association and be entitled the rights, privileges, and protections thereof.
Augusta University's Student Government Association is composed of two bodies: the Senate (Undergraduate) and the House of Representatives (Graduate). Each body serves as a liaison between students and the administration of Augusta University.
Visionary leadership is defined by three principles: having a vision, the work ethic to implement the vision, and having selfless intention.
These principles are found within the spirit of leaders and these leaders can be found in the Student Government Association.
Our SGA will remain true to these principles in strengthening the culture here at Augusta University.
We are here to inform, impact, influence, and inspire every Jaguar.
Not only do we set the example, we lead by example.
