Enrollment and Obtaining Your Insurance Card


MANDATORY INSURANCE PLAN
(For students who are required by their program of study to have health insurance coverage)

You must be registered for your classes and have an active mailing/permanent address in POUNCE before you will be able to enroll and access your information on the United Healthcare website. Please go to the website below to enroll in the student insurance plan.

Once you have enrolled, please visit www.uhcsr.com/gru to set up your account. You may then request your insurance card by mail or print one from the website.

Please note:
If you had an approved waiver and lose your current private insurance coverage during the semester, please email us at studentinsurance@augusta.edu to request enrollment in the student health insurance plan.


VOLUNTARY INSURANCE PLAN

Students who are NOT required by their program of study to have health insurance may purchase the insurance through the voluntary enrollment site. To enroll in the voluntary insurance plan please go to the link below. Once you have enrolled and paid by credit card, please set up your account. You may then request your insurance card by mail or print one from the website. www.uhcsr.com/gru

Enrollment in the voluntary plan for the fall semester closes on August 30th, 2017.


TRAVEL INSURANCE PLAN

If you are insured under the Augusta University Student Health Insurance plan (UnitedHealthcare) and are planning to travel abroad, this plan includes a travel insurance benefit.

If you have private insurance (not insured by the Student Insurance Health Plan), you may go to the link below to access the enrollment form. Coverage for those not insured by the Student Insurance Health Plan is offered at a cost of $75 per year, through UnitedHealthcare.  www.uhcsr.com/gru
