Police Perception of Body Worn Cameras

Study Description: Utilizing surveys and in-depth interviews, this study will examine police perceptions of the use of body-worn cameras (BWCs). Topics explored include the potential effects of the use of body worn cameras have on officer interactions with community members, worklife, and their understanding of the role of law enforcement in society.

Eligibility Criteria: To be included in this study participants must be: Adults over the age of 18 Currently employed at the Richmond County Sheriff's Department as law enforcement officers officers working in the field who have been issued body-worn cameras as part as standard protocol.

Compensation: No, subjects will not be compensated.
